PortugalTomás Alcarva, a 27-year-old Portuguese from Mafra, Lisbon, arrived in Ukraine in April 2024. He spent months training and posting on social media before being sent to the frontlines a week ago. After seeing other mercenaries die, he decided to leave Ukraine.
